People in Weddington fight to ‘beat’ cancer

Several people in Weddington are trying to beat their own record for the world’s longest drum circle. For the last six years they have worked to fight cancer by organizing the Drumgstrong cancer fundraiser.  The drummers have been beating their drums nonstop since noon on Saturday.  The fundraiser is just off Providence Road.
